If you know me, I always love to plan a great party 🙂 As a family, we love to camp, we love adventures and exploring with the boys. That is how the camp/adventure theme came about for Christian’s 4th birthday party.
I have plenty of props and nic nacs (from the numerous parties I have thrown and my photography props) so there wasn’t too much to purchase for this one! I designed the invitation and printed them on craft card stock right at my house (great DIY). And last minute, the morning of the party created the “happy camper” banners for the goodie bags, and the scavenger hunt sheets. Luckily there was no snow outside yet (and it wasn’t too cold), so the guests were able to run around and look for the items. The kids also painted birch wood as another activity, which my brother cut for me.
Everyone enjoyed mini burgers, hot dogs, mac salad, pickles, chips and fruit (some good camp food!). Hope from J Cakes made the amazing s’mores cupcakes and we worked together on designing the most incredible “camp” cake. I couldn’t even believe the details! We ended with s’mores at our fire pit! A perfect camp tradition.
Everyone had so much fun! Happy 4th Birthday to my little monkey. You amaze me more and more each day! I love you to pieces.
Enjoy the pics from the party!

Loved this idea. The attention to detail was outstanding. Cake, favors, games, food items were beautifully executed.
Great photography and loved how Christian enjoyed the event.
You did a fab job Marcie. It looks like the kids had a blast. The photos are so crisp! Thanks for allowing me to be a part of the celebration!
