Mill on the River CT Wedding | Kim & Rob

It was a beautiful September afternoon for Kim and Rob’s wedding at Mill on the River in South Windsor, CT. We were so honored to shoot this wedding and of course be guests as well! We met Rob about 5 years back at Mohegan Sun Wine Fest and since then he has started his own photography business, as well as worked with us a few times assisting. A great guy with an amazing personality!

After Kim and Rob got ready at the Marriot in Windsor we headed to the Mill on the River for a first look on the grounds. I always love seeing their reactions when they see each other as bride/groom for the first time. The ceremony, given by Pastor Dennis Ritchie from Oasis Church was so pretty and emotional, I actually cried! And what a perfect idea to politely ask the guests for no photos during the ceremony. Makes our lives so much easier and makes it so much more intimate.

The dance party was a blast with Dj Dan from Local Motion, and we got to have a couple glasses of yummy wine toward the end of the night before the Marriot after party! Congrats Kim and Rob, we are so happy for you both and love seeing you smile so much together. Many brewery and winery trips ahead! Here are some of our faves.
