Saratoga Race Track NY Wedding | Gillian & Geoff

So here you have found the second part of Gillian & Geoff’s wedding at the Saratoga Race Track. The ceremony and lunch took place at Saratoga National Golf Club and images can be seen here. Here is where the fun begins!

All the guests took the Giddy Up Bus with their beer koozie favors and $2 bets (some with fancy hats) over to the Race Track to sit in “The Top of the Stretch” and watch the races. We followed with about 12 coolers of beer and champagne in the back of our pickup. We were so excited since this was our first time there! They also supplied more food here of course, and some “betting tip” signs on the picnic tables. We had an amazing view right along the edge of the track. First we took a walk over to the paddock to get a few shots of the couple there.

Gillian and Geoff actually sponsored a race and named it “Geoffrey & Gillian Plummer Wedding Invitational #GiddyUp.” Famous jockey Joel Rosario won the race. He is the jockey you will see in the photos. We all went into the exclusive Winner’s Circle to take photos with him after the race. He rode the horse “Paid Up Subscriber.” It was pretty awesome! He also gave his jockey goggles to the couple!

Once the races were over we then headed to King’s Tavern across the street for live acoustic music and more food and drinks of course! We can’t wait to go back there. Gillian and Geoff thank you for choosing us at your wedding photographers!
